It’s impossible to write a biography of Nicke Borg without mentioning
The Backyard Babies. After originally founding the legendary band in Nässjö

back  in 1989.
He remained as their frontman and main songwriter for over twenty years.
But there’s significantly more to our story than The Backyard Babies.
Nicke Borg’s musical journey covers way more stylistic turf and utilizes a far
broader sonic palette than the trademark kickass rock ’n’ roll familiar to the average Backyard Babies fan.

With the Borg-penned Leaving Home unveiled as one of the songs competing in Sweden’s largest and most prestigious music and television event, Melodifestivalen, Nicke’s media profile as a solo artist expanded beyond measure overnight, effectively changing his life in the process.
Leaving Home was a massive hit that made way for the release of Chapter 2.
 

In this evening ROCKCITY brings Nicke to Västervik. It wont be just a concert.

Nicke will talk about his life, stories and experience as being the frontman of swedens biggest Rockband and his way to other musical experiences.

Nicke, will play acoustic this night- own songs and Backyard Babies-Songs. We will create an amazing atmosphere with candles and warm light. You can sit and enjoy the show with an ice cold beer or a good glass of wine - and off course with great music.
